Video Licensing Question
We’ve spent a lot of time considering a simple question.
What matters more to you – Someone viewing your video thousands of times or people paying to watch your video a few times?
Yes, that’s overly simple but humor us for just a second.
Pretend for a moment that you have a great video. It could be a Hollywood film, a commercial video (training, real estate, medical, etc) or something really cool you captured on an amateur camera (alien landing, skateboarding Booby, etc).
Either way, you know you have something good. What are you going to do?
The problem is Youtube is a circus. Brightcove is expensive. And Vimeo gives you a bunch of irrelevant hearts.
That’s way we are building Vidli.
Here’s a quick example. You’ll notice this video has “♥ 2,851″ on Vimeo. Instead of the ♥’s wouldn’t you rather make $100? Oh Baby this is going to be fun.
This Vimeo video is used for illustrative purposes only.
PS - This u2 track is probably copyrighted. Somewhere a Blue-footed Booby was just attacked by an iguana.
